Our advisors are available for individual and confidential counseling sessions offering a personalized approach tailored to your specific needs. The three services described below support you through every step of your professional journey, from the initial conception of your project to your entry into the professional field of your choice.

Counseling and guidance

Are you just starting to consider your career options? A career counseling session will provide initial guidance to help you identify your interests, skills and aspirations.

Resume and cover letter review

A resume and cover letter that highlight your strengths and interests for a specific position are essential to secure an interview. After reviewing these documents with our advisors, you will know how to optimize your application materials for all future job applications.

Mock job interviews

During these sessions, you will have the opportunity to practice using a job posting of your choice and receive transparent, comprehensive feedback.

2. After registration, you will receive a link to access agenda.ch, where you can choose a time slot, specify the topic of your appointment, and provide the necessary information.

• Personal counseling is available exclusively to UNIGE bachelor's and master's students, as well as UNIGE graduates within 2 years of graduation.
• Career Center advisors do not guide you on academic career paths or handle applications for master’s programs.
• Doctoral and post-doctoral students should go through the resources offered by the Graduate Campus.
• Before requesting a personal appointment, please prioritize the workshops and tutorials offered by the Career Center and prepare thoroughly.
• Please ensure to follow the recommendations listed in our guidelines.
• You can only book one session initially. We will then determine the next steps of your guidance depending on your needs.
