Mindfulness

Learn to recharge your batteries, to find the energy and calm you need in the frantic pace of your days (Thursday workshops)

Do you feel stressed or overwhelmed by everything you have to do? Would you like to learn how to manage your stress and improve your attention span? Would you like to be able to be fully present when good times occur? If these questions have already crossed your mind, then come and discover Mindfulness! What is Mindfulness? “Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally”. Jon Kabat-Zinn

Practicing Mindfulness is a way to recharge our batteries, to stop and take a break from the hectic pace of our days in order to find the energy and calm we need to carry on with enthusiasm. Just as we know that physical exercise strengthens physical health, it is increasingly proveń that Mindfulness training can support our mental health and well-being.

Aims We invite you to discover Mindfulness through guided meditations that may be done sitting, lying down or moving. These regularly repeated practices enable us to increase our awareness of the present moment and focus inwardly, in order to help us manage our obligations in the outside world. These practices are simple, and accessible to everyone. No previous experience of meditation is required to take part in this course.

Comfortable clothing is required. Changing rooms are available on site. You will be asked to remove your shoes in the classroom. Meditation cushions are provided on site. For hygiene reasons, please come to each class with a clean cloth (e.g. scarf, towel) to cover the cushion.
