Ski instructors

Your skiing skills are top-notch and you wish to teach ski to other students? Join the University’s ski instructors team!

Needed skills

  • Your skiing skills are good;
  • You ideally underwent a recognized training (J+S, IASS, etc);
  • You potentially already have a professional experience in teaching.

What are the things a ski instructor must do?

  • Do their best to teach skiing on Saturdays, weekends and camps organized by our Sports department;
  • Help with the management of activities (organization, safety, etc);
  • Deliver on their commitments and be responsible.

Upcoming season organization

  • One training weekend for the ski instructors is to happen at the beginning of December 2023. The goal is to see the level of each of our ski instructors and train them to polish their teaching skills;
  • A camp in Zermatt in January;
  • A camp in Crans-Montana in February;
  • A camp in St. Moritz in March;
  • Skiing Saturdays from February to March.

Additional information

  • A fee is asked to take part in the training weekend;
  • You will receive an allowance for every skiing Saturday or camp you take part in;
  • Fees such as transportation, ski passes, accommodation and half-board are taken care by the Sports department. Lunchs only are at the expense of the ski instructor during skiing Saturdays and camps.
