Who is concerned?
Who is concerned by the re-enrollment procedure?
If you have already studied and have been enrolled at UNIGE, you simply need to apply for the re-enrollment procedure.
The re-enrollment procedure concerns you if:
- you have completed a basic studies program (bachelor’s or master’s degree, complementary certificate) or an advanced studies program (PhD, certificate of specialization);
- you are currently enrolled in another Swiss higher education institution (university or HES);
- you have been exmatriculated because of payment default during the current semester. Check the procedure and deadlines.
This procedure applies to you even if you have studied for only a short period of time (a few weeks or just one semester).
Who is concerned by the enrollment procedure (rather than the re-enrollment)?
Despite having previously attended UNIGE, in some cases, you might be expected to enroll rather than re-enroll.
The enrollment procedure concerns you if:
- you have completed a continuing studies programs at UNIGE, including a MAS program (Master of Advanced Studies);
- you were a post-doctoral students from a country outside of Europe and were enrolled at UNIGE during your post-doctoral period;
- you are a former exchange students at UNIGE;
- you came to attend one course or subject at UNIGE while being enrolled in another Swiss higher education institution.
In those cases, you must send an enrollment application as a new student within the deadlines.
