Deadlines
To resume your studies at UNIGE, submit your re-enrollment application on time.
Standard deadlines
- For the Fall semester:
- for a bachelor's program and for the Diploma in French as a Foreign Language (DEFLE): between January 15 and July 31.
- For the Spring semester:
- for the Bachelor of Theology by distance learning (only program open at this time of the year): between September 15 and November 30.
No re-enrollment application can be submitted after the deadline.

If you do not meet these deadlines or if your application is rejected, we will not process the re-enrollment application.

- Have you never studied medicine in Switzerland? You must first register with swissuniversities.
Then:
- Have you already studied at UNIGE and want to apply for human or dental medicine? There are several options available depending on your situation:
- You have studied medicine abroad and want to join the 2nd or 3rd year of the chosen bachelor's degree? Apply for re-enrollment with request for equivalence.
- You have studied medicine in Switzerland and want to join the 2nd or 3rd year of the chosen bachelor's degree? Apply for re-enrollment with request for equivalence.
- You want to join the chosen bachelor's degree with no request for equivalence? Apply for re-enrollment.
