Non-maturité certificate holders (NPM)

Enrollment requirements for non-maturité holders

Candidates may submit their application if they meet the following conditions (the internal regulations are binding):

  1. Have met the November 30 enrollment deadline for this type of admission;
  2. Are either:
    • Swiss nationals,
    • Holders of a residence permit for gainful employment in Switzerland for at least the last 3 years,
    • Holders of a settled foreign nationals permit;
  3. Are at least 25 years of age by September 1 preceding the start of the academic year;
  4. Have been gainfully employed for at least 3 years, or can provide proof of equivalent employment;
  5. Meet the necessary conditions, specific to each faculty, institute, center or school, listed in the règlement interne relatif à l’admission à l’UNIGE des candidats non-porteurs d’un certificat de maturité (FR).

Please note: a positive decision allows enrollment at UNIGE only in the faculty, institute, center or school for which the application was made. No subsequent change of faculty, institute, center or school will be accepted. Furthermore, medical and pharmaceutical studies cannot be undertaken by students without a maturité certificate.
