Enrollment requirements for non-maturité holders
If you do not hold a maturité certificate, you can still apply for enrollment at UNIGE.
You must submit your application before November 30.
You can apply for enrollment if:
- you are a Swiss citizen, or hold a settled foreing national permit, or a residence permit for gainful employment (valid in Switzerland for at least 3 years);
- you are at least 25 years old by September 1 preceding the start of the academic year;
- you have been employed for at least 3 years or have done another equivalent activity (volunteer work, regular engagement, ...);
- you meet the conditions specific to the program you wish to apply to. For example, an admission exam or a statement of purpose. These requirements are listed in the UNIGE règlement interne.
Important:
- Once you are admitted, you cannot request a change of faculty.
- Medical and pharmaceutical studies are not accessible for students without a maturtié certificate.
