Health access support

The aim of the health access support is to help students from UNIGE and HES-SO Geneva to access essential health services at reduced rates. This support includes psychological consultations, speech therapy consultations, and general health services, to ensure the well-being of students during their studies.

Types of available aids

For UNIGE students

• Psychological consultations: CHF 25.- per consultation, up to twenty sessions
• Speech therapy consultations: Access to a reduced rate

For HES-SO Geneva students

• Health Space: CHF 700.- per consultation, renewable up to three times
• Speech therapy consultations: Access to a reduced rate

Conditions for submitting an application

• Be enrolled at UNIGE or HES-SO Geneva
• Justify the need for consultations for health reasons through an assessment

Students must contact the relevant health services to carry out an assessment and determine if consultations are recommended:

• Psychological assessment (UNIGE)
• Assessment at the Health Space (HES-SO Geneva)

If this is the case, the service will evaluate the request based on each individual's financial situation. Currently, the speech therapy consultation is the only one for which a request must be made directly via the online form.

Steps to follow to submit a request for speech therapy consultation

1. Complete the online form
2. Attach all mandatory documents
3. Submit the complete file online

It is the student's responsibility to submit a complete file within the deadlines. In case of difficulties in obtaining documents, filling out the form, or for general questions, please contact our service by phone, email or during in-person office hours. The submission of an application does not guarantee its granting, each file being evaluated according to numerous criteria.
