The aim of the monthly grant is to facilitate the continuation of studies by offering additional financial support to students whose resources are not sufficient to cover their needs. Intended for students who meet the eligibility criteria, this grant helps to improve their study conditions.

Distributed jointly by UNIGE and HES-SO Geneva, this grant is part of the cantonal network of financial aid for students. This network includes notably the canton's loan and grant service (SBPE) as well as the social aid of the Hospice général.

Students benefiting from these cantonal aids are not eligible for grants from our service.

The submission of the application does not guarantee that assistance will be granted. An analysis will be carried out and a decision of acceptance or refusal will be communicated. Several types of aid packages are possible depending on the student’s situation. Grants are paid in 10 monthly installments, retroactively if the decision comes after September.
