Requests for a change of faculty/institute/center or enrollment in a 2^nd faculty (exept PhDs) must be made as early as the week before the start of the academic year and no later than two weeks after the start of the academic year (Sunday of week 39), except in the special cases indicated below.

Requests to change faculties/institutes/centers or to enroll in the 2^nd faculty for the semester in question cannot be submitted after the deadline.

Please note: if the program applied for is subject to a specific deadline or requires additional registration in a faculty/institute/centre (see below), and this is not done within the deadline, or if it is refused, the request will not be processed.

Requests for a change of faculty/institute/center or enrollment in a 2^nd faculty (except PhDs) must be made between January 15^th and July 31^st, except in the special cases indicated below.

In the case of admission subject to successful completion of the current degree, the above deadline must be met. The change of faculty will take place as soon as the faculty has registered the successful completion of your degree. If you fail your current degree, no change of faculty will be made.

No request for a change of faculty/institute/center or enrollment in a 2^nd faculty for the semester in question may be submitted after the deadline.

• Change BEFORE the start of the academic year:
  • Only for applicants confirming by appointment: communicate final choice when confirming enrollment in person;
• Change AFTER the start of the academic year: only during the first three weeks after the start of the academic year, i.e. until Sunday of week 40:
  • Provided enrollment confirmation has already taken place during an appointment: log on to the UNIGE Application Portal and submit the request to change faculty/institute/center.
