Bachelor’s degree equivalence form
For certain programs and faculties/institutes, it is possible to obtain equivalence within the framework of a bachelor’s degree in order to make use of previous university experience.
The request must be made when applying for re-enrollment or a change of faculty (except for FPSE, see below), by completing the following form and attaching the required documents:

Please note: the documents required for both the application for equivalence and the application for re-enrollment or change of faculty need to be attached only once.
Faculty-specific details
- No equivalence is granted for the Bachelor of Arts in Multilingual Communication from the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI);
- Requests for equivalence for bachelor’s degrees from the Faculty of Psychology and Sciences of Education (FPSE) can only be made during the first three weeks of the new academic year to the student advisors;
- For the Bachelor of Arts in International Relations (BARI) at the Global Studies Institute (GSI), please consult the BARI study regulations.
- For the Faculty of Law: it is not necessary to produce descriptions of previously completed courses.
Caution
- The Admissions Office reserves the right to request any additional information required to process an application, or to refuse to process an excessively incomplete application. In both cases, information will be communicated by e-mail.
- Any omission or submission of false or falsified documents may lead to definitive refusal of admission, or exclusion from UNIGE.
